At the New York Group for Plastic Surgery, we care about your skin health. On staff we have a doctor - Elizabeth Chabner Thompson, MD, MPH - with extensive experience in today's popular aesthetic medicine treatments, including BOTOX® Cosmetic and injectable fillers such as Radiesse® and collagen.
Elizabeth Chabner Thompson, MD, MPH
Dr. Elizabeth Chabner Thompson is an assisting physician and injector who performs many of our medical spa services. She graduated cum laude from Yale University and went on to medical school at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. After an internship at UCSD in California, she completed a residency at the Harvard Radiation Therapy Program, while also obtaining a Masters Degree in Public Health at Harvard University.
During her residency, Dr. Thompson took great interest in the treatment of breast cancer and the genetic component to the disease. Dr. Thompson worked part-time with 21st Century Radiation Oncology and treated many of the reconstruction patients of the New York Group for Plastic Surgery. In addition, she worked for CBS news as a freelance medical correspondent. In 2007, Dr. Thompson began retraining in aesthetic medicine at the New York Group for Plastic Surgery.
