This patient is a 36-year-old female who desired having a bilateral breast augmentation. Over the years, factors such as pregnancy, nursing, and the force of gravity took their toll on her breasts. She had two children and wanted to gain the fullness and shape back to her breast that she had prior to nursing her children. We had an in-depth discussion on the various approaches for breast augmentation including the surgical incision approach, the positioning of the implant and the types of implants used. Sizing was performed with an ultimate goal size of a full B, C- cup with a volume of around 200cc. We decided together that the best approach for her breast surgery would be the submuscular approach with the incisions made in the inframammary fold. The cosmetic breast surgery was performed by Dr. R. Michael Koch under MAC anesthesia in our board certified surgical suite in Tarrytown, New York. After surgery she was very excited that she was able to improve her breast shape and restore the volume that was lost through breast feeding. Surgeon: R. Michael Koch, MD Patient Age: 36 Patient Gender: Female Race: Hispanic Implant Size Left: 230 cc Implant Size Right: 220 cc Implant Wall: Smooth Wall Implant Contents: Saline Implants Implant Shape: Round Breast Incision Type: Inframamma |
